What is Turning Point Tenders?
Turning Point Tenders is a private and curated six-month listening and coaching program for an individual at a moment of transition. This work focuses on key life moments when the past no longer exists and the future is unclear. The process seeks personal clarity, resolution, and optimism for what is ahead.
This engagement blends business management consulting, career and life coaching, spiritual and religious explorations, and simple time spent with a trusted friend hashing out ideas. The context of this work recognizes the larger world – communities, friends, families and the client’s personal interests. The understanding of interconnectedness frames the Turning Point Tenders perspective.
Every working session is a time of deep listening, grounded presence and reciprocal dialog.
What the Engagement Includes
Project framing – an initial 2-3 hour conversation that establishes the project’s background, framework and key objectives.
Program design – a six-month plan with objectives, processes and tasks, including a suggested calendar of client engagement activities.
General tools – various processes and support capabilities such as a scorecard and task tips.
Ten hours of companionship and dialog per month – eight hours structured, two hours ad hoc:
- Two 2-hour theme or purpose-specific sessions
- Two 2-hour check-in and review sessions
- Two hours (cumulative) of as-needed, on-call sessions
Monthly activity summary – review and looking forward.
Closing session – one comprehensive review and planning session in the final month.
